If you haven’t heard about Extrema Outdoor Belgium yet, you probably need to take a look at this post. This festival, located in De Plas in Houthalen-Helchteren, will take place from the 2nd to the 4th of June, when some of the legends of house and electronic music get together creating an incredible festival. Extrema Outdoor location is totally surrounded by nature. Deep forest and a clear lake with a beach are its principal attractions. In fact, the respect and care for the environment are one of its thematic, exactly, the global warming. This global problem has inspired the whole festival, which will count 3 stages about global warming. In each stage, the decoration and animation will be different according to the level of impact of humans in nature. The first stage is the Eden, a green area with very healthy food and fresh air. The second stage is based on the present, with pollution, overconsumption. industry… And the last stage is a futuristic space which represents an apocalyptic world without natural resources, with floating camps made out by scraps and waste.
People call the festival “The Quality Music Holiday” due to its animation, decoration, activities and, of course, the line-up with top-quality headliners. These are some of them:
